2021 MARKET PREDICTIONS

2021 remains to be seen, as is true annually and with any upcoming year! However, this year appears to be highlighting this fact. We all wondered where 2020 would take us in the real estate market, once the Pandemic hit. We are cautiously optimistic for 2021!

My prediction both locally and regionally is that inventory will remain historically low, interest rates hovering at 3% and frankly, it will be more of the same.

Longmont home values appreciated approximately 7% in 2020. It would be incredible to have another solid year in our market.

My own 2020 business increased 28.3% YOY, which was surprising considering my industry was shut down for over 2 months. I recall listing a home in mid-March on the very weekend of the shutdown. And despite all of these circumstances it closed setting a new price point for the neighborhood.
