5 Things I'm Thankful For In Longmont

If you know me, you know I love Longmont, Colorado and I truly love living here and being apart of this wonderful community.

This holiday season, I wanted to take a moment to list off just a few things I am thankful for in the Longmont area. I hope my list inspires you to get out and explore all the great things this area has to offer, and I hope it inspires you to think about what you’re thankful for as well.

Here are 5 things I’m thankful for in Longmont and the surrounding area:

1. Beautiful views, atmosphere, and all the sunshine in Northern Colorado. I am so lucky to live where we experience all seasons plus sunshine all year long with amazing views of Long Peaks and other mountains in the distance.

2. Longmont has great parks and walking paths all throughout town which I love because it’s easy to meet with friends and connect with nature. Some of my favorite walking paths include the Bolo Trail, Lefthand Greenway, and Dickens Farm Nature Area.

3. I love all the recreation and activities available in Longmont. Locals can enjoy kayaking, fishing, and going for a nice stroll around popular McIntosh Lake and Golden Ponds. There are multiple golf courses in the area, both public and private, as well.

4. Longmont feels unique because it’s surrounded by farms and open space, making the town feel like its own special “island” community.

5. Downtown Longmont has a great vibe with so many cute local shops, entertainment, and delicious restaurants. You cannot go wrong with the food in Longmont, so many good options!

Longmont has highly rated schools and hospitals, making it not only a fun place to live but safe and desirable as well!

I am so thankful to live in such a beautiful, vibrant place full of community spirit with easy access to recreation and the great outdoors!
